The Pony Ride Experience

Children ages 2 and older spend this hour learning all about ponies! Discover how to interact with them, what they eat, how they’re groomed and more. There’s plenty of time to ride, and ample guidance to help keep kids safe. The Pony Ride Experiences are held at the gorgeous Taylor Hillside Farm & Ranch surrounded by Newberg’s world-class wine country.

Lessons

Lessons are available for children starting at 3 years old. One-on-one horsemanship lessons are offered year-round. Lesson students are immersed in the world of horses with rich experiences exposing children to a whole array of equine activities including Western Riding, English Riding, barback riding, horse care, groundwork experiences and more.

Horse are beautiful life lesson teachers reflecting to us what they see and feel. The greatest success come when children learn how to connect with the horses. Peaceful, cam, patience, kind ways fill the air as children develop a bond enriching their souls for life.

Summer Session is now full. Fall session details will be posted in Late July/Early August.

Lessons are held on Fridays and Saturdays and start for children as young as 3 years old.
