freyja & hetja napping

Freyja the new kitten (now 11 weeks old) is making connections so quickly. Below is a picture of Freyja and Hetja (3-year-old Icelandic Sheepdog). Freyja had been trying to nap on my lap or Bob’s all day long, but we just were not sitting still long enough. Then just moments ago, Freyja went over to Hetja who was laying on the couch. Hetja naps on her back most often. What a sweet process to watch. For about 5 minutes initially, Hetja’s eyes were wide open not understanding what was going on. Freyja started by licking Hetjas tummy all the while purring. After a bit, Freyja settled right in finding a comfortable position and fell asleep. What a beautiful process to watch a friendship blossom.
